JONESVILLE— A memorial service honoring the life of Robert Edward Lowry, 79, of Jonesville, who died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence, located at 158 Harris Road in Jonesville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Lowry was born Feb. 29, 1940, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the son of Earl E. and Lula Riggins Lowry.
He was retired from Armstrong Tire & Rubber Company in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Lester Lowry and wife, Robin; three daughters, Chrysti Whittington and husband, Paul, of Hazlehurst, Tanja Burneister and husband, Ronnie, of Florence, Kentucky, and Roberta Holloway and husband, H.R., of Crystal Springs; one sister, Mary Lowry Greer or Natchez; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his loving canine fur babies, Ghost, Blue, Shadow, Nugget and 2P.
