NATCHEZ — Seeds of Change organization will be conducting a canned food drive on Friday to benefit the Natchez Community Stewpot.

Carolyn Myers, Ph.D., director of the Seeds of Change non-profit organization, said volunteers would be stationed from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday in front of the Natchez Market on John R. Junkin Drive and in front of the Southside Market off U.S. 61 south in Natchez.

“We will be collecting any size can of vegetables,” Myers said.

The Stewpot recently put out a request for donations and Myers said the Seeds of Change organization mobilized to help meet the Stewpot’s needs.
