FERRIDAY— Services for Mary Lee Atwell Hall, 80, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Brian Monehan officiating.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at New Cedron Cemetery in Vowels Mills, Louisiana, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Pineville, Louisiana, the daughter of Willie “Manny” Atwell and Edith Gertrude Whitaker Atwell.
She was a lifelong resident of Vidalia and a member of McNeely Road Church of God in Natchez. Mary was a talented seamstress, she also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Most of all, she loved being with her family, friends and grandchildren.
She was a lifeline for the people who loved her. She will be tremendously missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Hall Sr.; her parents; and two brothers, Arlice Wilton Atwell and Stanley Tucker Atwell.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Eugene Hall Jr. and wife, Robyn, of Hernando, and Mark Howard Hall of Vidalia; one daughter, Jenny Cauleen Roberts of Natchez; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Dale Atwell; and two brothers, Willie Dee Atwell and Samuel Atwell.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Hall, John Roberts, Austin Hall, OD Atwell, Shelton Smith, Brad Smit and Douglas Howard.
