FERRIDAY— Services for Wilbert Jones, 81, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Levee Heights, with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was born July 24, 1938, in Knox, Louisiana, the son of John Henry and Luvenia Jones.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include two sisters, Gloria “Gracie Mae” Neal of Ferriday and Gladys Walker of Woodville and other relatives.
