RAYMOND — With several starters out with either injuries or illnesses, the Adams County Christian School Rebels had to play several second- and third-string players Thursday night at Central Hinds Academy.

And it showed as ACCS was upset by the Cougars 33-19 in the MAIS District 3-5A and regular-season finale for both teams, costing the Rebels a good playoff seed in the Class 5A Playoffs, which begin next Friday night.

The Rebels outgained the Cougars 309 total yards to 260, but five turnovers as well as 11 penalties for 87 yards were too much for them to overcome.
