NATCHEZ— Services for Gregory Darnell West Sr., 61, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Bruin Baptist Church with the Rev. Elmo Frye officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. West was born Nov. 23, 1957, in Natchez, the son of Michael Dunmore and Ruby West.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gregory Darnell West Jr.; one brother, Louis Bangs; one sister, Dorothy; and one stepdaughter, Amanda Jestine Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Arma West; one daughter, La’Donna Kay’shell West; one sister, La’Donna Kay West; godbrother, Clifford Ford; stepson, Percy Jackson; three grandchildren, Ka’Mari and TaBari Jones and Davin Thompson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
