Hometown band Bishop Gunn started their Saturday afternoon with an impromptu acoustic concert from a hot-air balloon. Missouri pilot Kurt Vitense took lead singer Travis McCready and guitarist Drew Smithers for their first ride in a hot-air balloon. To celebrate the duo brought a guitar and harmonica to play a few tunes as the balloon soared over the balloon festival site.
After a beautiful flight and clean landing, McCready and Smithers joined band members Burne Sharpe and Ben Lewis to play to a packed crowd on the festival site Saturday night.
Above are some pictures from the band’s afternoon flight and evening convert in Natchez Saturday.
