VIDALIA— Services for Willie Mae Fair Holmes, 75, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Raymond Riley Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holmes was born Dec. 27, 1943, in Vidalia, the daughter of Dan and Josie Percy Fair.
She was a member of Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Holmes Jr.; five sons, Otis Fair and wife, Marilyn, of Grambling, Louisiana, George Fair of Monroe, Louisiana, Steve Fair and wife, Shemekia, of Ferriday, Troy Fair and wife, Melanie, of Vidalia, and Tyrone Fair of Natchez; two daughters, Sharron Fair and Patricia Moore and husband, Willie Davis III, all of Vidalia; one brother, Jimmy Fair of Ferriday; three sisters, Marie Jenkins and Martha Burden of Vidalia, and Pearly B. Fair of St. Joseph, Louisiana; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one godchild, Jessica Warner of Vidalia; and good friends, Phyllis and Ernest Ellis of Ferriday.
