NATCHEZ— Services for Ernest Woods Sr., 82, who died Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Anthony C. Colenburg officiating.  
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his loving and devoted son, Ernest L. Woods Jr. and wife, Patty, of Natchez; one sister, Julia Henry of Natchez; five grandchildren, Marion A. Hunt Jr. and Miranda Hunt of Nashville, Tennessee, Delequa Drake, Jernestia Woods and EJ Woods, all of Natchez; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
