NATCHEZ — Graveside funeral services for Connie Strong Swaggart, 71, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at her residence will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County with the Revs. Leon Wallace and Michael Thornton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2019,  at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Swaggart was born Aug. 4, 1948, in Natchez, the daughter of Warren Hewitt Strong and Earlene Eliza Womack Strong.

Mrs. Swaggart is preceded in death by her husband, Joe C. Swaggart, her parents, one brother Wesley Strong, one niece Kim Britt and mother-in-law Louise Swaggart.

She is survived by her two daughters, Buffy Harris and husband Ronnie of Wesson, Mississippi, Jolyn Arnold and husband Randy of Franklin County, Mississippi; three grandchildren Joseph, Morgan and Conner; one sister, Diane Britt and husband Roger of Texas; her father-in-law, Gilbert Swaggart of Natchez; one sister-in-law Fran Strong also of Natchez; four brothers-in-law, Ronald Swaggart and wife Lynn, Hoppy Swaggart and wife Cheryl, Glenn Swaggart and wife Clarrissa, and Ricky Swaggart.

Pallbearers will be Wes Stroud, Timmy Swaggart, Stephen Harrison, Luke Smith, Kyle Smith and Jason Swaggart.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Warren Wesley Stroud, Glenn Allen Swaggart and Carl Swaggart.
