Welcome to Fall Pilgrimage 2019 in Natchez
Published 12:01 am Friday, September 27, 2019
Fall Pilgrimage begins today and organizers say more than 500 people from around the world purchased tickets in advance.
Beginning today and lasting through Oct. 14, Natchez residents are sure to notice more visitors on the streets than usual.
Now is the time for Natchezians to step up to the plate and display the Southern hospitality for which we are known.
Of all the places people could choose to visit, the tourists who are converging on Fall Pilgrimage chose to visit Natchez.
Each of them had their own reasons but lets make sure they do not regret their visits.
If tourists come into your place of business, give them the red carpet treatment.
If tourists stop you on the street to ask for directions do your best to help them out and do so politely.
Tourism is the major industry in Natchez and we all have a stake in continuing that success.
Natchez is known as much for its friendly and charming people as it is for its beautiful landscapes and historic buildings and houses.
Spruce up your yard, and put your best face forward and let’s live up to the reputation.
Welcome, tourists, to Fall Pilgrimage. Thanks for choosing our city to visit.
