FERRIDAY—  Services for Wilbert Henderson, 80, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, in Alexandria, Louisiana, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Bishop Justin Conner officiating.   
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Henderson was born March 8, 1939, the son of Walter Henderson and Beatrice Wallace Henderson.
He was previously employed at T.L. James Construction Company.
Wilbert enjoyed watching football, westerns and planting vegetable gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Walter Jr., Ernest, Cemuel and Jessie Henderson; and two sisters, Thelma Henderson Webb and Ethel Martin.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Sherbia, Deanna Henderson and Keswauna Henderson; three brothers, Leroy Henderson, Leon Henderson, Louis Henderson; three sisters, Elizabeth Calhoun, Virginia Washington and Ernestine Harris; and other relatives and friends.
