NATCHEZ— Services for Jerry Dale Caraway, 76, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept.15, 2019, at his residence, will be 10 a.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchez with Bro. Timmy Cloy officiating.

Mr. Caraway was born Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1942, in Jackson, one of five sons born to John Cecil Caraway and Etta Mae Blackwell Caraway.
Jerry had no acquaintances, only conversations, hundreds of them. And once a conversation had been engaged a friendship was born.

He was adamant about family gatherings and holidays being held at his home — he never missed any of his grandchildren’s activities or birthdays. He also loved to hunt, fish and the outdoors.
