Charles Leroy Goss

NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Charles Leroy Goss, 84, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at his residence, will be 10 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Goss served in the U.S. Navy as an E-3 submariner on the U.S.S. Grampus. He also served as a past master of Harmony Masonic Lodge F&AM No. 1 and was a member and longtime deacon and trustee of the First Pentecostal Church of Bude.
Goss’ career as an insurance salesman spanned 46 years. He was a lifelong resident of Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Aubrey Goss Sr.; his mother, Helen Elizabeth Watson Goss; four brothers, Donald Harris Goss, Paul Goss, Willie Aubrey Goss Jr., and Robert Earl Goss Sr.; and two sisters, Paula Goss and Helen Marie Goss Marks.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Murray Goss; one son, Benjamin Douglas Goss of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, James Jackson Goss of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.
