In honor of its 50th anniversary, The Markets celebrated with a birthday party packed with delicious food, fun and by giving away a 2018 Ford F-150 from Natchez Ford.
Natchez resident Mandy Adams was the first of six lucky participants chosen to try her set of keys in the truck. With one turn of the key, the engine started. Adams and the other participants were selected randomly in monthly drawings throughout the year at The Markets’ grocery stores.
Reality didn’t hit Adams until a few seconds hearing the engine start over the crowd’s cheers and applause. Soon after, Adams was surrounded by family as they hugged beside the truck.
