NATCHEZ — A celebration of life service for Jeanie Dell Cauthen, 61, who died peacefully at her residence, Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, surrounded by her husband and her beloved dog, Aslan, will be 10 a.m. today at Kingston Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Jeanie Dell was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Natchez, the daughter of Charles and Webbie Jo Eidt.
She worked for 17 years at Johns Manville until she met her devoted husband, Todd Cauthen. They married Oct. 8, 1994.
Jeanie Dell loved the outdoors, hunting, nature, music by Dan Fogelberg and ballet. She was a Colonel’s Lady at South Natchez and danced in the Pilgrimage Tableaux throughout high school.
Jeanie Dell and Todd worked side by side in their business, Delta Rentals. Todd and Jeanie Dell also enjoyed traveling, the hunting camp, farming and socializing with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Pam Cauthen; her grandmothers, Jenneratt Harlow and Ema Dell Warren; and grandfathers, Maurice Burnham and Sam Eidt.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Todd Cauthen; her parents; father-in-law, Bobby Cauthen; one brother, Chuck Eidt and wife, Scarlett; one sister, Nancy Eidt and her son, Matt Willis; two brothers-in-law, Scooter Cauthen and wife, Janet, and David Cauthen and wife, Gina; six nieces and nephews, Wesley, Chase and wife, Rachel, Colin, Colter, Kayla and Sarah Katherine Cauthen; and her life-long friend, Roxie Ricci.
She is also survived by her loving dog, Aslan.
