FERRIDAY— Services for Lavon “Mickey” Madison, 69, of Clayton, who died Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Sun Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mickey was born April 26, 1950, in Ferriday, the son of Lee Richard Madison and Ophelia Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles E. Madison.
Survivors include his two daughters, Rebecca White Johnson of Houston and LaDonna Jefferson of Memphis, Tennessee; two brothers, Richard Madison and wife, Shirley, and Robert Davis and wife, Patricia, all of Ferriday; two sisters, Laura Madison of Ferriday and Betty Arthurle of Houston; one aunt, Viola Green of Ferriday; and other family and friends.
