GLOSTER— Services for Ollie Marie Vines Murray, 96, of Crosby, who died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Field Health System in Centreville, will be 2 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bernard Waites and the Rev. John Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murray was born May 26, 1923, the daughter of Luther and Gertrude Vines.
She was a member of Perrytown Church of Christ in Crosby. She was a housewife and was retired from Kellwood Company in Liberty.
Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Maurice “Red” Murray; two brothers, L.T. Vines and Edgar Vines; one sister, Willie Mae Murray; and one grandson, Jeffery Maurice Murray.
Survivors include one daughter, Sonia Murray Kelly of Crosby; one son, Keyn Murray and wife, Vicki, of Clinton; two granddaughters, Melissa Marie Kelly of Brandon and Brooke Elizabeth Murray of Purvis; one grandson, Troy Davis Kelly and wife, Geralyn, of Centreville; two great-grandsons, Christopher Fred Kelly and Michael Davis Kelly of Centreville; one brother, M.L. “Bud” Vines of Natchez; one sister, Kathleen Hutchins of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Johnson, Travis “Cliff” Murray, Grant Murray, Troy Kelly, Blasé Gaudet, Alan Hutchins, M.L. “Binky” Vines II and Edgar Vines III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Kevin Longmire, Jim Hill, Kenneth Petty, Donald DeMoss, Roger Simmons, Jennings Holloway, Dr. Elwyn Cavin, David Gaudet, Steve Burr and the men of Perrytown Church of Christ.
