FERRIDAY— Services for Connie Foster Couvillon, 65, of Marrero, Louisiana, formerly of Sicily Island, who died Monday, July 22, 2019, in Marrero, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Tim Parker officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Couvillon was born Dec. 30, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Manson L. Foster Jr. and Rosie Denon Foster.
She was a loving wife, foster-mother, grandmother and favorite aunt.
Connie never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one nephew, Nicky Brandenburg; one brother-in-law, Oliver Brandenburg; grandfather, Manson L. “Shorty” Foster Sr.; and grandmother, Mary “Nanie” Foster.
Survivors include her husband, John Michael Couvillon Sr.; one son, John Michael Couvillon Jr. and wife, Penny, of Calhoun City; one daughter, Jennifer Couvillon Alexie and husband, Larry, of Lafitte, Louisiana; one sister, Vivian R. Brandenburg of Sicily Island; one brother, Tim Foster and wife, Angie, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Stephen Couvillon, Cameron Daigle, Dylan Couvillon, Lane Fisher, Hunter Horne and Stormy Brown; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Brandenburg, Timmy Foster Jr., Skeet Perkins, David Coughran, Wesley Coughran and Michael Riley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Coughran and Jeremy Brewer.
