VIDALIA— Services for Christopher Collins, 33, of Vidalia, who died Friday, June 7, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Collins was born July 17, 1985, in New Orleans, the son of Thomas Evans and Ruthie Collins Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Antonio Evans.
Survivors include one son, Malik Grant of Slidell, La.; four brothers, Marc Merriman and wife, Janet, of Slidell, Worthem Merriman and wife, Shonvez, of Houston, Devin Collins and wife, Ashley, of Natchez and Thomas Evans Jr. of Los Angeles; three sisters, LaTonia Evans, LaTisha Evans-Gripper and husband, Justin, and Jessica Evans, all of Los Angeles; and one aunt, Delores Anderson of Ferriday.
