Eloise Eschete Sullivan

NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Eloise Eschete Sullivan, 88, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Houston, Texas, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Eloise Sullivan was born on Saturday, April 11, 1931, in Louisiana.
She was a lifelong resident of Ferriday and worked for more than 20 years with state and federal grants that assisted children of migrant farmers. Mrs. Sullivan worked a five-parish territory to follow the education and medical needs and record keeping for the children of migrant farmers. Later in life she enjoyed working with plants, playing dominoes and collecting angels.
Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Arthur Francis Sullivan and second husband, Reggie Lowery; parents, John Percy Eschete and Alice Inez Jenks Eschete; three brothers, James Earl Eschete, Julius Vernon Eschete and Bobbie Delam Eschete; three sisters, Jacqueline Eschete, Charlotte Eschete DeLaune and Cherly Eschete Reed; three nieces, Misti Ahrens, Gigi Eschete and Jamie Eschete.
Survivors include two sons, John Sullivan of Houston, Texas, and Wayne Sullivan of Ferriday; sister, Lorenza Ann Lambert; sister-in-law, Nora Eschete; five nephews, Timmy Eschete, Terry Eschete, Tommy Eschete, Michael Eschete and Eddie DeLaune; five nieces, Dee Miller, Tracie Gray, Jackie Hodges, Michelle Eschete and Becky Eschete.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
