FAYETTE— Services for Quitman Fitzgerald Sr., 83, of Fayette, who died Sunday, May 12, 2019, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Cannonsburg with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.   
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home-Fayette Branch.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the Fayette chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Fitzgerald was born on July 23, 1935, in Church Hill, the son of Freddie Fitzgerald and Ella Ireland Fitzgerald.
He was a retired logger for the McFaye Logging Company.
Fitzgerald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Fitzgerald; one daughter, Mary Rose Thomas; one son, James Edward Fitzgerald; and his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Freddie Lee Fitzgerald and Quitman Fitzgerald Jr.; two daughters, Gertrude Fitzgerald and Phyllis Young; three stepsons, Louis Fitzgerald, Kelvin Fitzgerald and Carl Fitzgerald; three stepdaughters, Gloria Fitzgerald, Linda Fitzgerald and Robin Fitzgerald; two brothers, Julius Fitzgerald and John Tyler; one sister, Willie Mae Fitzgerald; grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
