FERRIDAY— Services for Jeraldine J. Day, 65, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Camelot Leisure Living Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Day was born Nov. 8, 1953, in McComb, the daughter of Curtis and Lillie Mae Griffin Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Nyesha Day.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Day Sr.; two sons, Earl Day Jr. and Ricardo Day; four daughters, Wy-Shemia Sheppard and husband, Bobby, all of Ferriday, Melody Brown and husband, Ike, of Bastrop, La., Zelectra Van Norman and husband, Thomas, of McComb, and Tawana Sommersville and husband, Zazzabo, of Little Rock, Ark.; six sisters, Chaterine Devrouax of Jackson, Wanzer Jones and husband, Carrell, of Natchez, Wanda Banks and husband, Oscar, of Cartersville, Ga., Tredina Ard of McComb, Vanessa Johnson of Parlin, N.J., LaVancy Wrooten of Detroit; one brother, Curtis Johnson Jr. of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
