NATCHEZ— Services for Nancy Elizabeth Washington, 70, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be 7 p.m. Friday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will be Saturday at Sweeney Town Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ms. Washington was born on Dec. 7, 1948, in Woodville, the daughter of Walter Stewart and Ezetha Webb-Stewart.

She was a graduate of Wilkinson County High School and was previously employed as a cook.
Nancy was a member of Hopewell African Methodist Episcopal Church in Woodville. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing spades, watching soap operas and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts; and uncles.
Survivors include a number of cousins and friends.
