NATCHEZ — Three local children will be selling lemonade, cookies and artwork at a stand outside Dunleith from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to benefit the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society.

Mae Holyoak, with help from friends Sophie Webber and Alexandra Person, is continuing an idea she started last year.

The girls hope to raise enough money to buy a power washer and some toys for the animal shelter.
