NATCHEZ— Services for Ceasar Adams, 77, of Natchez, who died on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel-West Gate Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Strickland and the Rev. Johnny Elery officiating.   
Burial will follow at Daughters of Zion Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10:15 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Adams was born on Jan. 23, 1942, the son of Roger Adams Sr. and Annie L. Strickland.
Ceasar was a 1960 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and was a member of the Daughters of Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Ceasar Adams Jr. of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Barbara A. Clark, also of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Nelson Dyson and Clarence Adams, both of Madison, and Charles Adams of Chicago; three sisters, Mary Thomas of Atlanta, Ruth A. Rice of Chicago and Annie Mae Sweazy; special friend, Carrie Washington; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
