FAYETTE— Services for Mattie Mae Reed Easton, 60, of Las Vegas, formerly of Fayette, who died on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.  
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Easton was born on June 6, 1958, the daughter of Charlie Reed Sr. and Laura Reed.
She was a 1976 graduate of Jefferson County High School and attended Alcorn State University.
Easton was employed by Flamingo in Las Vegas and she was a retired teacher from Nellis Air Force Base.  She was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Las Vegas and enjoyed cooking and shopping.
Easton was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Delores Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Easton; two sons, Rheumar Reed and wife, Tina, and Deshudrick Johnson and wife, Natasha; one stepdaughter, Kristan Easton Winslow and husband, Michael; one brother; Charlie Reed Jr. and wife, Corine; two sisters, Irma Sims and husband, Jerry, and Estella King and husband, Robert; and other relatives and friends.
