NATCHEZ— Memorial services for Armel Charles Echelard Jr., 72, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 25, 2019, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Community Chapel Church of God in Natchez.
Burial will be at Lake Lawn Cemetery in New Orleans.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Echelard was born Sept. 10, 1946, in New Orleans, the son of Armel Charles Echelard Sr. and Olive Mae Tabor Echelard.
He served faithfully on the police force until his retirement as a postman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Barbara Lynn Perry Echelard; two daughters, Kristie Martin and Steve Lazarus and Shannon Williams and husband, Bruce; Brian McKlemurry and companion, Sandy Latham; four grandchildren, Taylor Marloneaux and husband, Stephen, Cody Williams, Brandon Williams and Brittany Jochumsen and husband, Jace; four great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Pearly Perry; two brothers-in-law, Stanley Perry and wife, Gerri, and Rodger Perry and wife, Lynn; special friend, Cullen Pollan; and one cousin, Joe Arsena.
