NATCHEZ—  Services for Lillie Mae Grace, 100, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Promise Specialty Hospital in Vidalia, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Wynn and Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grace was born March 1, 1919, in Florala, Ala., the daughter of John Powell and Burie Adams Powell.
She was the owner of Grace Cleaners for a number of years.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Bennie J, Grace Sr.; and three sisters, Myrtle, Hazel and Gladys.
Survivors include one daughter, Dot Sanders and husband, Jim; one son, Bennie J. Grace and wife, Scherry; six grandchildren, Cheri, Keith, Benjie, Christopher, Jonathan and Alicia; 14 great-grandchildren and one to be born soon; two great-great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Grace, Jonathan Grace, Matt Robbins, Brandon Sanders, Bill Bailey and Dillon Hollingsworth.
