NATCHEZ— Graveside services for Eva Frances Blalack, 86, of Waterproof, who died Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blalack was born July 19, 1932, in Natchez, the daughter of Walter A. Slover and Agnes Morris Slover.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clayton. She was a homemaker who loved outdoor activities, especially her manicured yard. Her favorite passion was following her grandsons and great-grandsons in their sport activities. She never missed a game.
Blalack was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Johnnie W. Blalack; and one sister, Mary Alwell.
Survivors include one daughter, Jinnie Stockstill and husband, Butch, of Waterproof; one brother, Freddie Slover and wife, Glenda, of Natchez; one sister, Evelyn Riggs of Vidalia; two grandsons, Greg Stockstill and Cassie Hughes of Waterproof and Mark Stockstill and wife, Macky, of Natchez; and two great-grandsons, Tyler and Wes Stockstill.
Pallbearers will be Mark Stockstill, Greg Stockstill, Tyler Stockstill, Wes Stockstill, Joe Dallalio and Jayce Powell.
