MADISON— Georgia Beauford, of Madison, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, while surrounded by her family.      
Arrangements were under the direction of Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison.
Mrs. Beauford was born March 24, 1934, the daughter of Dave Beauford and Angeline Smith.
She grew up in Natchez, Adams County. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She attended The First Baptist Church of Moses. In her spare-time, she loved sewing and was also an avid reader. But, most of all, she was a faithful member of her family church.
Beauford lived a rich and fulfilled life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and her doors were always open and welcoming to family and friends. She loved her family and was a nurturing caregiver at home and on her job. She selflessly took care of all her family members in their time of need.
Beauford is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Carla and Anglina Beauford; one brother, Robert Smith; and one sister, Gloria Smith Jackson.
Survivors include her loving son, Willie Beauford of Natchez and a number of church family friends who loved her dearly.
