Join us for a spiritual awakening
Published 12:35 am Thursday, February 28, 2019
Parkway Baptist Church, 117 Seargent S. Prentiss Drive, Natchez, will host a revival Sunday through Thursday.
Sunday services will be at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Thursday services will be noon with a luncheon provided by the church and evening services at 6:30 p.m.
I, the Rev. John Brock, interim pastor, invite everyone, regardless of denominational preference.
My son, Dr. John T. Brock, senior pastor of Highland Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama, will be the preaching evangelist and the Rev. Brad Brand, worship leader for the Park Place Baptist Church of Pearl will lead the music.
It is Parkway’s desire that this revival effort will become a spiritual awakening for all of southwest Mississippi and Southeast, Louisiana.
Being award of the breakup of our families, unbiblical standards, political turmoil and other social issues in our country that bring devastating effects to our lives, families and communities, we believe our only hope is a spiritual awakening that will bring back God’s glory and blessings to our lives.
Please join Parkway in this revival effort by praying for that spiritual awakening, attending and joining in a united effort to see God do something that will turn the hearts of all people, regardless of denomination, back to God and His desire to see His kingdom thrive in our communities.
I invite one and all to these services and also ask for your prayers. This is not just a Baptist revival but is a united effort of faith to reach many for God’s kingdom.
The Rev. John Brock is interim pastor of Parkway Baptist Church, Natchez.
