BROOKHAVEN — Services for Lisa Wanette Joseph Wilson, 52, of Brookhaven, who died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, were Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Mount Zion Church of Christ.
Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven.
Mrs. Wilson was born Feb. 11, 1966, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert “Bob” Shelton Sr. and Orilla Day Joseph.
She was a respiratory therapist and a member of Mount Zion Church of Christ. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Lisa had a passion for serving pediatric patients.
She was preceded in death father.
Survivors include her husband, Kirk Wilson; her mother; two brothers, Tommy Joseph and wife, Andrea, and Robert Joseph; one sister, Sue Sullivan and husband, Steve; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Berean Children’s Home, 1180 Berea Trail SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629, or Blair E. Batson Children’s Research Hospital, 2500 N. State St., Jackson, MS 39216.
