FERRIDAY — Services for Johnnie Lee Scott, 85, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.      
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Scott was born Jan. 13, 1934, in Ferriday, the daughter of Johnny Williams and Mary Harbor Ford.
She was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Love Chapter 96.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Scott Jr.; three children, Geraldine Bell, Juanita Dickerson and Larry Scott; one granddaughter, Pamela Jean Scott; two sisters, Alberta Leonard and Willie Lee Skipper; and one aunt, Annie McKinney.
Survivors include two sons, Lavron Scott and Ernest Scott, both of Ferriday; three daughters, Wanda Faye Carter of Ferriday, Diane Saul of Vidalia, and Erma Lee Scott of Malta, N.Y.; a devoted son-in-law, Victor Carter; four devoted granddaughters, Alisha Hooper, Darlene Scott, DéAnna Dickerson and Joei White; two special nieces, Shana Skipper and Joanie Davis; a special friend, Joyce Brown; three devoted caregivers, Loran Thomas, Deloris Henderson and Lisa Stelly; devoted neighbors, Patrick Ford, Barbara Washington and Michael Weatherspoon; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who she loved very dearly.
