Salvation Army center in dire need

The Salvation Army has a long and committed history of meeting human needs in Natchez. Since 1904, we have sought to be a beacon of hope and comfort for Natchez residents facing the uncertainties of life.
The Natchez Service Center is in dire financial jeopardy and without your support will be forced to close. Your urgent assistance is needed to fun current and future operations.
Mirroring the national economy, The Salvation Army in Natchez has had a 10 percent increase in first-time requests for services. Additionally, we have seen a 12 percent increase in requests for utility and mortgage assistance.
These are not just number, but are your neighbors who, for the first time, are without employment and are seeking help from The Salvation Army. Many have lost jobs and need help keeping their home from foreclosure. Others are the elderly struggling to make utility payments on a fixed income.
While The Salvation Army’s social services ministry remains viable and useful to the community, the need for your support is as important as ever.
The Salvation Army embraces the challenges of these uncertain times, but we need your financial support to continue.
