Lee Anthony Ford Sr. has announced his candidacy for Southern District Justice Court Judge.

“During my involvement in law enforcement over 37 years, I have worked diligently for positive change in Adams County and the Miss-Lou,” Ford said. “From patrolling and protecting our streets, serving as a school resource officer, extending expertise as safe schools coordinator in reference to school shootings, attending the DEA academy and being assigned to the Mississippi Bureaus of Narcotics Academy with rewarding honors as a specialized agent to investigate illegal druc activity thoruth the South, my goal has always been to promote a sense of integrity, commitment, trust, hope and pride among my constituents.”

Ford said he would like to balance the scales of justice in Adams County.

“…I have always been very concerned about the equilibrium status of all cases in the district,” Ford said. “I truly believe there are workable solutions available that will enhance our local judicial system.”

Ford said impartiality is key in the judicial system.

“As your judge my initial focus will be to seek the truth in all endeavors,” Ford said.

Ford is retired after serving as a member law enforcement organizations in the Miss-Lou for 37 years and has much training and experience in law enforcement.

Ford also is a U.S. Army veteran, a Mason and he promises to be hard on crime and criminals “but 100 percent fair.”
