Coroner Lee announces re-election run

Adams County Coroner, James E. Lee, recently filed papers at the Adams County Circuit Clerk’s office for his re-election bid for coroner.
“A lot of hard work has gone into this office, and I would like to continue the work I have done over the years,” said Lee a 20-year veteran of the coroner’s office.
Lee is a Mississippi certified coroner. He holds a degree in respiratory science with 14 years practicing as a respiratory therapist.
Lee is a certified Mississippi law enforcement officer, certified law enforcement training instructor, a U.S. Army veteran, attended Alcorn State University and California College for Health Sciences, a certified death investigator, former EMT and funeral director.
“I made a promise to improve the office 20 years ago, and I have accomplished and exceeded that goal,” Lee said. “Therefore, I am asking the residents of this city and county to entrust the coroner’s office to me another four years.
“As always, your prayers and votes are appreciated.”
