VIDALIA — Burglars stuck three vehicles in a small area in Vidalia Saturday.
According to reports at the Vidalia Police Department, the thieves stole a satellite radio and CDs from a vehicle on Concordia Avenue.
The second report said two pistols, credit cards and other items were taken from a vehicle on Walnut Street.
The third report was that a GPS system, a satellite radio and a phone were taken from a vehicle on North Oak Street.
Police Chief Ronnie G. “Tapper” Hendricks said all three vehicles were unlocked, and advised that citizens not only lock their vehicles but make sure nothing valuable is within sight to tempt thieves.
Police investigators were able to lift fingerprints from one of the vehicles, and the matter remains under investigation, Hendricks said.
