FERRIDAY — Services for Debbie Harp, 62, of Youngsville, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at her residence, will be noon Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harp was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Natchez, the daughter of Ray Coley and Katie Byran.
She was loved by her family, friends and Louisiana State University.
Harp was preceded in death by her father and mother and her husband, Leslie Bryan.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Hal Harp; one son, David Ray Scruggs and wife, Tara, of Monterey; five grandchildren, Cody Scruggs and Karalynn Scruggs, both Terry, Carlee McClain of Monterey, Peyton Cowan of Natchez, and Paige Thomas and husband, Sam, of Vidalia; three great-grandchildren, Brody Koehler of Natchez, Addison Thomas and Maddox Thomas, both of Vidalia; three godchildren, Catlin Trahan, Dustin Trahan and Ashley Trahan; and three brothers, Ricky Bryan and wife, Rhnea, of Monterey, Joe Bryan and wife, Jackie, of Lake St John, and Ronnie Bryan and wife, Rhonda, of West Monroe, La.
She is also survived by her beloved dog, Emmy.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Ray, Phillip Bryan, Jeremy Bryan, Cory Martin, Curtis Jones and Dustin Trahan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tammy Ray, Dorothy Trahan, Beth Brown, Nadine Crabb, Ashley Trahan and Catlin Trahan.
