NATCHEZ — Private memorial services for Jewel E. Laird, 79, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at his residence, will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Laird was born Jan. 16, 1939, in Natchez, the son of Chalmus Rushing and Mary Pickering Rushing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Laird; and stepfather, Jim Laird.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, April Kempinska Laird; three sons, Earl Laird, Kit Laird and Charlie Laird; and 10 grandchildren.
