NATCHEZ — Superintendent Anthony Morris said Durham school buses will be running as scheduled Wednesday morning.
Bus drivers had threatened a strike earlier this week, but Morris said Durham and the bus drivers agreed Tuesday to operate as planned.
Wednesday is the first day of school for the Natchez-Adams School District.
Durham School Services is a private company contracted by the schools to handle transportation.
The school district will be sending out an automated phone call to all district parents tonight notifying them that bus service will be provided, Morris said.
