James and Nancy Wallace of Abilene, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julianna Olivia Wallace to Chandler Thomas Winstead, son of Mark and Brande Winstead of Madison.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is a senior biomedical engineering major at Mississippi State University in Starkville.

She is the granddaughter of Sandra Wallace and the late Murray Wallace of Gideon, Mo., and Betty Murphy and the late Martin Murphy of Mesquite, Texas. Sandra Wallace is the former Sandra Webb of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Germantown High School in Madison and is also a senior biomedical engineering major at Mississippi State University. He plans to attend medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

He is the grandson of Gerald and Roma Winstead and James and Kathy Thomas, all of Philadelphia.

The wedding will be 6:30 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Monmouth in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
