Fabulous Fall Weather has begun in our area. The leaves are changing, there is a crispness in the air and people are enjoying less hot and humid days out doors. It is also that time of year when exciting outdoor activities take place in our area.
FBC Natchez is bringing their spectacular Family Fall Festival to life again this Wednesday, October 24, from 5:30-7:30 pm. This is an exciting event for all children, especially preschoolers thru sixth graders, but the whole family will enjoy this event. The Festival is held outside at the church softball field, and it will be one of the largest events under the lights that we have ever hosted.
The Natchez community is invited to enjoy this safe, fun atmosphere. Come roll around in giant hamster balls; and bounce in one of the inflatables, including a large slide. We will have interactive games like Sports Extreme 4 n 1 game; Batter up Baseball, Shooting Star Basketball & Wild West Shootout. Race your friends in the Adrenaline Rush Extreme Obstacle Course or try your hand at Archery Air Blaster. For the younger ones, we also have games such as Bucket Toss, Rebecca at the Well, Pharaoh Plinko, Duck Pond, Football toss, and Mickey Mouse Park Learning Club play area. Also, our artists will be there to Face Paint anyone who wants their face painted.
No Fall Festival is complete without a cupcake walk and photo booth, and we will have both! Wear your favorite costume, as we will have a selfie photo area set up for you to take your own photos of the wonderful evening. There will also be 4 gift cards given away as well as a 32 “ Creative Life Roku TV, so make sure you register for those wonderful items.
We will be serving hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and soft drinks. And, of course, many of the games have what kids want most this time of year: a great selection of melt in your mouth chocolate candy.
A helicopter will also fly in and land beside the softball field for anyone to observe up close. We hope to have another surprise or too as well.
There is a cost of $2 per person to help us provide the wonderful activities for our community to enjoy. We are a non-profit organization so all funds help us to host this amazing time. Please enter our church from the 150 Devereaux Drive entrance, and from there you will be directed on where to go and park.
The familiar things you like to see at our Fall Festival, along with exciting new additions, should make this the most exciting one we have ever hosted. This is definitely a safe and family fun atmosphere to bring your children to.
