NATCHEZ — Services for Kimberly Ann Hendricks, 47, of Brandon, who died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Murray Temple’s Church of God In Christ, 5 Perrault St., in Natchez, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Minor officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Webb/Winfield Funeral Home.

Ms. Hendricks was born Oct. 21, 1971, in Natchez, the daughter of Samuel Hendricks and Willie R. “Myme” Stampley.

She started her Christian walk with the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Green Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Ferd Green. She was active in the church’s youth choir. Because of her tenacity and determination for serving the Lord, even after moving from Natchez, she received her spiritual guidance from Word Vine Christian Fellowship Ministries under the direction of the Rev. Dr. Minor and prophetess Barbara Minor.

Hendricks was a light to everyone that met her — she embraced and loved everyone for who they were in life. She was a trendsetter and definitely a fashionista in her own right. She was a 1989 graduate of North Natchez High School. Soon after graduation, she moved to Jackson. Her love for children afforded her the opportunity to work in a day care as a child care supervisor. Her kids affectionately called her Ms. Kim and she was loved by the children and they were loved by her.

Hendricks was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, James “Buddy” and Roise Lee Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Kitty Hendricks.

Survivors include one daughter, Meagan Marie Hendricks; her longtime partner, Tonette McDonald; two sisters, Nicholle Pearson and Ebonee Brinson; five brothers, Herman “Tony” Stampley, Gerald Pearl, Michael Owens, Keith Hendricks and Samuel Hendricks; stepmother, Lourdene Hendricks; god-sister, Zelda Argue; six aunts, Betty Matthews and husband, Charles, Evelyn “Diane” Woods and husband, Steve, Carolyn Carthen and husband, Cecil, Barbara Minor and husband, Larry, Josephine Watson and Dianne Good and husband, Joseph; three uncles, Freddie Hendricks, David Hendricks and Roosevelt Hendricks; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, who affectionately called her “Tee Tee Kim,” cousins and countless friends.
