NATCHEZ — Services for Kim Lee “Big Body” Singleton, 52, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Hope Baptist Church: The Vision Center with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.
Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Singleton was born Sept. 9, 1966, in Natchez, the son of Willie Singleton and Deloris Jones Singleton.
He served honorably as a soldier in the U.S. Army and dutifully in law enforcement for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Singleton was preceded in death by his parents; his lovely wife, Linda Singleton; and grandparents, Clarence and Lurenda Singleton and Curtis Jones Sr.
Survivors include three children, Kimara Jarvis, Zemirah Singleton and Travis Bradford; two grandchildren; five sisters, Amesha Washington, Nicole Fells Davis, Veronica Fells, Michelle Frisby and Jerimeshia Banks Washington; five brothers, Monroe Bennett, Christopher Cornish, Clyde Ott, Tory Leggions and John Davis; grandmother, Hattie Whiting; stepmother, Earleen Singleton; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
