NATCHEZ — Services for Anthony “Tony” Irving, 57, of Pearl, who died on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, in Ridgeland, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Bethel Baptist Church in Natchez with minister Al J. Thompson III officiating.       
Burial will be Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Friday with a celebration of life wake service at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
Mr. Irving was born, March 24, 1961, in Chicago, the son of Willie James Irving and Frances Ann Hawks.
Following his graduation from high school, he continued his education with college studies.  Irving was self-employed at A.H.I. Electrical as an electrician and enjoyed computers, electronics and darts.
He was preceded in death by his mother; one son, Derek Irving; one brother, Michael Irving; and grandparents, the Rev. Monroe and Lilly Irving, James Hawks and Annie Smith.
Survivors include his father and wife, Carrie Broughton-Irving; one daughter, Tina Marie Irving; two brothers, Brian McElroy and wife, Inez, and Danier Cole and wife, Zelda; three sisters, Janice Webster and husband, Greg, Lisa Johnson and Jennifer Stevenson and husband, Brent; sister-in-law, Bertha Irving; three stepsisters; the mother of his children, Dedra Briscoe; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
