The Natchez Convention and Promotion Commission and Visit Natchez invite you to join us on Monday for “Tourism 2019 — The Next Steps” — our “state of tourism in Natchez.”
Like the nation’s State of the Union, our annual summit is a time of reflection on the past year and a time of looking forward to what is to come.
It may not be New Year’s, but it is the beginning of the new fiscal year and a great opportunity to look at how the decisions and choices we made in the past year served us well, where we are adjusting and the exciting plans for the new year ahead.
In this 21st century, the tourism industry is more competitive than ever. Thanks to the continuing phenomenal growth of technology, the internet has created a world where we, and potential visitors to Natchez, can literally be anywhere, planning a trip to a new destination for the chance to have authentic, unique and memorable experiences that we want to share.
Today’s visitors want to discover the stories, meet the people, taste the food, hear the music and visit the places at the heart of the destination.
We want them finding it all in Natchez.
Not only do we have a unique, special city with a vast history and rich culture to share, we also have remarkable people willing to work toward a better future for us all.
In addition to hearing from NCPC board members and Visit Natchez staff, you’ll hear some of the latest news from Visit Mississippi … you’ll hear about some exciting new initiatives we will be introducing for the new fiscal year … and you’ll have a chance to participate in an advertising opportunity.
Please join us on Monday at the Natchez Convention Center in the Louisiana Suites on the second floor for “Tourism 2019 — the Next Steps.”
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with program beginning at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided and the last session ends at 2 p.m.
We hope to see you there. For more information, call 601-446-6345.
