NATCHEZ — The Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen met in executive session Monday to discuss last month’s suspension of the city’s fire chief, but took no action.
Mayor Darryl Grennell placed Natchez Fire Chief Aaron Wesley on administrative leave with pay on Aug. 24.
At the time, Grennell said the city’s human resources department had undisclosed complaints about Wesley and the matter had to be investigated before it would be turned over to the board of aldermen for consideration.
