SICILY ISLAND — The Sicily Island High School Tigers scored 30 points in the first quarter alone and went on to defeat the Block High School Bears 50-6 Friday night.

Tyrell Jordan threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to Keonte Dunbar and had a 30-yard TD run. Tyreke Tolliver had a 53-yard scoring run to go with a 30-yard TD pass to Dunbar. As a team, Sicily Island had 203 rushing yards and 207 passing yards.

Sicily Island (1-1) plays at LaSalle High School at 7 p.m. Friday.

Block (0-2) hosts Jena High School Friday at 7 p.m.
