NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Marvin Parnell Mullins Sr., also known as PeeWee, 89, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mullins was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Natchez, the son of Francis Luther Mullins and Bertha J. Futch Mullins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen L. Mullins; one son, Claude Daniel “Dan” Mullins; one daughter, Beverly Sue Mullins; one brother, Francis Luther Mullins Jr.; and three sisters, Lucille Cruse, Bertha Mae Groover, and Frankie Irene Burchfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia A. Scott; two sons, Marvin P. Mullins Jr. and wife, Susie, and Robert E. Mullins; one brother-in-law, Henry Earl Holliman; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Vanessa Mullins, Marvin P. “Joey” Mullins III and wife, Devin, and their children, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Laynie and Caleum, Adrienne Whittington and husband, Cory, and their children, Liam and Campbell, Betsy Mullins, Julie Mullins, Angelique Edmisson and husband, James, and their children, April, Amber, and Angel, Candice Kittrell and husband, Brian, and their children, Parker, Hayden and Emily Kate, Erika Johnson and husband, Ronnie, and their children, Lucas, Olivia and Maggie, Kathryn “Katie” Weadock and husband, Brent, and their children, Blake, Avery and Aubrey, Christie McGuire and husband, Blaine, and their children, Christian and Landon, Barry Mullins, Louise Diaz and husband, Michael, and their children, Sebastian, Aiden and Charlotte Louise and Philip Mullins; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marvin P. Mullins Jr., Robert E. Mullins, Charles Blaney, Allen Burchfield, Barry Mullins and Tim Mullins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ray Mullins, Frank Mullins, Jim Mullins and Marvin P. “Joey” Mullins III.
